Sunday, December 9, 2018 | Advent: Come Thou Long-Expected Jesus | While department stores pipe in "Holly Jolly Christmas," the Church in Advent sings, "Come Thou long-expected Jesus, born to set thy people free." While every radio station plays "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" on repeat, the Church in Advent sings, "From our fears and sins release us, let us find our rest in Thee!" Before our Serve With St. Nick event, Michelle delivers a homily on how the church requires us to "sign up." The band leads us in "Joy" and a jazzy rendition of "What Child Is This."
