Summer Stories with Luke: The Burden of Knowing God (Part II)

July 21st, 2016

Rev. Michelle Matthews | Luke 12:32-34 | "Don't be afraid little flock, because your Father delights in giving you the Kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Make for yourselves wallets that don't wear out - a treasure in heaven that never runs out. No thief comes near there and no moth destroys. Where your treasure is there your heart is also." | Oh no! Jesus is talking about money. Run! The words of Jesus challenge us and make us a little squirmy this week. Sell our possessions? All of them? Whatever Jesus. How do you read this passage? What do you hear Jesus saying?
